Julie Brandon-Smith (RMA) EN (LD)

Registered Manager – The House

Julie is the Registered Manager for the House.  Prior to coming to Wycar Leys, her background ranges from Social Services, Mental Health and Supported Living.

With 29 years experience, Julie has been part of the many changes within services and legislation in order to provide better standards of care and support for people with learning disabilities and associated challenging behaviour.

She commenced her career with the N.H.S. and trained to be Enrolled Learning Disability Nurse.  As her care progressed further, Julie gained various qualifications in order to give her the knowledge and experience to provide a service which is second to none.

Julie is very passionate about supporting people with learning difficulties and strives to ensure that people are given high quality support, adopting a person centre care approach.
