Operations Director

Joy joined as a General Manager at Wycar Leys in September 2000 and was made Operations Director on 28 August 2007. A qualified nurse, Joy has been in the care industry for over 23 years, working in a multitude of roles with a variety of Service Users.

Joy leads by example, her personal commitment and passion for ensuring standards are not just met but exceeded, are shown in her work, she will go the extra step to ensure Service Users and staff feel supported and develop to their full potential.

Her enthusiasm and positive attitude has created “a person centred led service” at Wycar Leys where all Service User needs are met no matter how demanding or complex. She perceives all Service Users as individuals with individual needs, and believes that all individuals have the potential to achieve their personal goals providing the correct environment and support is made available to them.
