Gina Jessop

Acting Manager – The House

Gina has gained a wealth of experience over the past 29 years in supporting adults with Learning Disabilites in the community and in residential establishments. Gina qualified as an E.N.M.H. in 1983 and sucessfully completed her conversion course to become a Registered Nurse in Learning Disabilities in 2003.

Gina has skills and is passionate in respect of enhancing the lives of adults who have Autistic Spectrum Disorders and associated complex needs.

Gina is currently studying for a Masters in Autism through Birmingham University and hopes the knowledge gained will help her to further improve the quality of lives of the individuals who live in The House.

Gina joined the management team at Wycar Leys as Acting Manager of The House at the end of May2008, and she hopes to continue the good work of the previous Manager by focussing on improving communication and promoting person centred planning within the home.
