Dave Hazlehurst

Activities Manager

Dave is the Activities Manager for Wycar Leys for both Bilsthorpe and Bulwell.

His previous experiences have been within Autism and Activities Management working within organisations such as Mencap.  Dave has worked with people who have learning disabilities and challenging behaviour for over 10 years.

He came on board with Wycar Leys in 2001 and during this period he has developed relationships within local communities where he risk assesses, organises and arranges activities for service users. 

He is dedicated to give service users an informed choice and freedom to choose their preferred activities and endeavours to ensure service users needs are met by reviewing activity schedules as the abilities of service users change.

Dave has always gone that extra mile to give support, guidance, help and advice to both service users and members of staff and by doing this he feels that the quality of life for service users can be improved.
