Care Support Workers

We are currently recruiting now for Care Support Workers for Days and Nights at our homes in Bilsthorpe, Nottingham and Burton-on- Trent to support people like us who display challenging behaviour, autism and have a learning disability.

When at work we need you to support us to visit many places like,

• Cinema
• Bowling
• College
• Swimming
• Work placements
• Shopping centres
• Many different  physical exercise activities

At times we can be challenging in our behaviour, but you will get specialist training to help you to manage our behaviour and there are lots of training courses you can do which will be paid for by the company where we live. Sometimes you may need to come in to work in your own time to go on training but you will get paid for this time and the training will help you to look after us.

We also like to go on holidays each year and will need you to come with us, our carers are our extended family and we spend a lot of time getting to know them.

If you come and work with us then you will also get the following

• £6.60 ph with NVQ qualification
• Meals when on duty
• 28 days annual leave per year
• Overtime rates if you work over your contracted hours

Registered Manager - Burton

Trent View and the Coach House are residential homes based in Burton-on-Trent offering spacious living accommodation for up to 11 adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. As part of the Wycar Leys group, the home has established an excellent reputation based upon putting the needs of our service users first.

As a registered care manager we will expect you to have the experience and qualifications to meet CQC requirements, but most of all we are seeking a manager with a passion and commitment for the care of the service users by delivering an individual Person Centred approach to their care. The Care Manager will also have the career development potential to grow the service further by opening another home in Burton-on-Trent
