Staffing Support

We have an experienced staff team who is dedicated, providing a planned and structured needs led service for all our Service Users.  The Homestead is committed to the training and development of all staff and comprehensive training is undertaken by staff regularly.     

The Homestead runs on a high staffing ratio, currently there are 8 Service Users who are supported by 7 staff members on days.  All shifts are led by Team Leaders and where this is not possible, experienced and suitably trained Care Support Workers step up to the role. We do alter staffing levels in order to meet Service User needs.

Shift Times	Current Staffing Ratio
08.00am – 03.00pm	Team Leader With 6 Support Workers
03.00pm – 10.00pm	Team Leader With 6 Support Workers
10.00pm – 08.00am	2 Waking Night Support Workers

• The Registered Manager and Deputy Manager are supernumerary to all Team Leaders and Care Support Workers.
• All Night Support Workers have access to an on-site Responsible Person based at Wycar Leys Bulwell.
• In case of any unforeseen circumstances there is an On-Call Manager available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
