The Homestead offers a home to people with autism and Asperger’s Syndrome and has an emphasis on working towards alleviating social difficulties our residents may face. All our existing Service Users have a severe learning disability but are able to verbally communicate some of their wishes and difficulties to staff.
This home has an emphasis on maintaining structured involvement in the community, in line with known interests.
The minimum level of staff in The Homestead is one member of staff to two Service Users.
