The Cottage offers a home to people with a severe learning disability and autism. Our current residents use a variety of communication methods which we develop, to include use of visual supports, objects and environmental cues.
The use of structured daytime opportunities gives each person choice to follow known likes and interests with thought, to reduce the known reasons for anxiety.
The minimum level of staff in The Cottage is one member of staff to two Service Users.
