Many people with Learning Disabilities have difficulty finding the right care, education and leisure opportunities. Most of the time they feel barriers are continuously put in their way by society and also, at times, feel abandoned.
At Wycar Leys we want to change this. We are a specialist residential care home for adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism and behaviours that challenge the service. We believe that people with Learning Disabilities have the right to be full members of the society in which they live. Our goal is to enable people with Learning Disabilities to be part of modern society where everyone is valued and has the opportunity to play their role to the best of their ability.
We do this by working closely with councils, social services, the health service, voluntary organisations, local companies and most importantly, our Service Users and their families; providing choice, independence and life opportunities for them to live fulfilling lives.
